Kids Martial Arts

We are lifelong students of martial arts, we believe that evolution is necessary in martial arts. We teach kids early, Tae kwon do, Self- defense, judo, Jui-Jitsu all wrapped up into martial arts. We all must evolve to remain sharp, fight well in small places, use leverage and conserve energy as we mature and get older. Each style has its pros and cons and different protective measures to instill confidence, keep you physically in shape, keep you connected spiritually and humbled by necessary growth to be masterful.

Self Defense

Martial arts and self-defense is not the same thing. Self-defense focuses on learning techniques to fight off attackers. Martial arts is a sport that you master along one’s life journey. Self-defense is always equated to martial arts in that your opponent is attempting to take you down. Self-defense involves using hands, feet, elbows, knees and any object for that manner to allow you to escape an attack. Our Kick boxing and self defense course allows you to attack fast, deliver blows without being telegraphed.
Kids and teens often dream of being recognized by their achievement and competence, which is driven by praise and attention. By being able to demonstrate in class or in front of loved ones, teens gain confidence in the ability to execute and this overflows into other areas of their lives. There is no greater confidence in overcoming and being able to protect yourself.
